6 months down, forever to go

It feels like yesterday, that we walked down the aisle on that breathtaking June afternoon. I can remember sitting in the upstairs bedroom at Lake Bluff and hearing Scott's voice bounce through the window as he told his leading men to hurry up. Sensing the excitement in his voice, it was then that it became my real moment. The moment you dream of, and don't believe, even when it is right in front of you. However God knew exactly what that moment would do for me. There were no nerves, just peace.

What a joyful day; even though the air was brisk, Lake Michigan never sparkled so brightly. Most importantly, we were in the presence of God as we took our vows. We are honored to this very day, by our friends and family that traveled in support of our marriage.

Over the last 6 months, we have been blessed to learn so much about each other and grow as a couple. We have settled into a home together and are currently surviving an internship, extended our family with four additional little legs, and are always refining the art of compromise.

So here is to 6 months down..... and forever to go<3

Give Thanks in All Circumstances...

Be Thankful for love and  bunny ears.
Scott and I had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving with my brother's family. We enjoyed a wonderful turkey and the traditional homemade sides. The most amusing fact was that the kids ate more of the tasty homemade bread than anything else. I adore them and their innocence.
Josiah and I had a memorable time making cheesy potatoes together, followed by the causality of a dish (sorry Jenn!).
And as always, we ended the evening with a game of cards. Simple and delightful. Thank you to the Anderson Family for a wonderful holiday full of family and love. So here are a few things to be thankful for:

Older brothers who just get me.
Inspiring nephews.

Delightful nieces.
Loving family.

Bountiful food and fellowship.

Pups and kisses.

and Brotherly Love.
We are thankful and blessed for all God has provided, especially the friends and family that surrounds us.
We love you all<3
