Many say the 1st birthday is for the parents. We say it's for the family; for we survived and successfully persevered the 1st year together with the help of God! We conquered 30 hours of labor, sleepless nights, fully breastfeeding, new careers, endless code-browns, hospital stays and health scares, first steps, first bumps and bruises, first words and giggles, endless smiles, real tears, cross-country trips, losing loved ones, gaining new loved ones, and most of all, God's Grace. We give all the glory to Him, because without The Lord we would be lost and and trapped in sorrow of all that went wrong instead of glorifying His name for ALL that went right!
