A Father's Love

To All The GREAT Dads in our lives,
Thank you for how hard you work and for all that you do; we love and cherish you all!
Happy Father's Day!

Scott said it Best:
"Happy Fathers Day to the greatest father of all. Because of you, I've become a good father, husband, brother, and friend. You've taught me how to be a leader, how to love and respect my brothers and sisters, and how to put my faith and trust in you. Thank you Lord Jesus for my eternal life you've created for me and my family; I am eternally grateful for my Heavenly Father."

Happy First Father's Day!

Feels like yesterday...

Over the past two years, life has been very crazy. Several family members passing, birth of our beautiful daughter, internship, jobs, traveling, etc. Most importantly two years ago today God bless me with your hand in marriage. I remember as if it were yesterday, how beautiful you looked in your dress, your dad walking you down the isle and telling me to take care of you, the Fathers Prayer, the I Do's, and the feeling of the Holy Spirit present during our service. I love you Sarah, yesterday, today, forever. Even though years may pass by us, you always will be my Beautiful Bride. Thank you for a wonderful two years, and I can't wait for what's to come in the future. ~ Scott

Four years ago I met you, Three years ago I said yes, and Two years ago WE said I DO! God has truly blessed us through the years and gave us the best gift that our Love through Christ could ever produce: Abigail! Our love has evolved in a way that we could not of ever imagined possible and I am thankful to have you by my side today and forever. While we conquer the years ahead, raise our child, grow old together, and put Christ first in all that we do; I look forward to loving you more with each chapter that passes. Thank you for working hard together at our marriage and Faith in God; I vow to continue to work just as hard every day ahead. I love you Scott ♥ Happy Anniversary ♥ ~Sarah

2 years down...
Forever in Christ we grow

A BIG Thank You

A BIG Thank You, to my husband Scott,
You are a wonderful Father, and I am blown away by all that you have done to help our family over the past two months. You have stepped up to be an amazing Father; changing a million diapers, waking up at all hours of the night, supporting my every move, and becoming a great role model to Abby. Scott, you have done all of this without complaint, you support our family by working hard everyday, and put God first in all of our decisions as a family. Thank you for being the spiritual leader of our home, a loving husband, and a growing and eager to learn Father. I am proud to be your wife and of the evolving love we share as parents. Thank you for all of your hard work, perseverance, love, and dedication to our Family.
Love, your beloved wife

2 months of SMILES

Abby is 2 months old and FULL of smiles! Smiling back at us seems to be her new "favorite trick" to show off. She loves when Scott and I sing to her and she even coo's along with our singing. Scott makes up the funniest songs to sing and ironically 90% of them are tuned to Christmas carols. We feel at times that Abby is having her own little conversations going on and it is adorable. When you least expect it you can hear Abby laughing and chuckling at all moments of the day. Books are becoming more appreciated these days, she loves to look at all types of colorful pictures. She can hold her head up and center it longer and longer with each day and she also loves to push of with her legs to try to stand when we hold her upright. With all of this being said, we need to get on the baby proofing very soon!

Abigail still loves to nap right on mommy and daddy best, but will sleep soundly in her bassinet, rocker, pack n'play, and bouncer. When Abby is VERY hungry, her cries sound like she is saying "MAMA" and it melts our hearts. In the first 2 months of her life she has traveled to Michigan and back by car (more to come in the future on that endeavor) and I am proud to say we survived our first road trip with a BABY!

On May 11th, Abby surpassed 10 lb and this was a monumental day for us. The pediatrician said once she passed the 10 lb mark, we could let her sleep as long as she wanted to through the night. OH MY WORD, we forgot how wonderful more than 3 consecutive hours of sleep was! Praise Jesus that we are not as brain dead as we were this time last month! She is currently sleeping an average of 6-8 hours almost every night with the occasional 1-2 nights a week she may wake up in the middle of the night. What a welcomed and major milestone!!

Our little girl is growing! Here are her 2 month Stats:
Weight: 11 lb 13 oz
Length: 22.75 in
Head Circumference: 15 in

Tummy time these days now consists of leg kicking, head lifting and finding of the fist. Then this results in sucking on found fist, Abby's favorite reward!

Looking at this picture I fear that she is going to go from tummy time to running and skip all of the other stages. Lord help us!
