From Birth to 5 months

Sippy-cup Success!

At 21 weeks old, Abby successfully drank from a sippy-cup! The same little one that wouldn't take a bottle, is now mastering all sorts of new skills! Mommy and Daddy are so proud :)

First Bug

September has been a very long and sleepless month for us. Abby has bronchiolitis and has been up coughing every single night. She has been sick for nearly 3 weeks and thankfully she is getting better and has not needed antibiotics. 

Through all of this, Scott and I made the best of it and enjoyed being able to stay home with her on our own days. Abby truly is the happiest sick baby we have ever seen. When we took her to the doctors, they even called her the "happy wheezier". 

After having a baby who slept through the night for months, we have had to re-acclimate to sleepless nights. Honestly, I have no idea how we have functioned through this. 

However, we survived Abby's first little bug and we thank God for the strength and perseverance. We thank daycare for this bug.... oh daycare.

At 5 months old, Abby is babbling none stop and sitting-up all by herself! She loves to play with her crinkle book and anything that plays music. Abby loves to watch her reflection in the mirror and giggles all the time with her infectious little laugh. She has been adjusting wonderful at daycare and her favorite activity is playing her her jumper. She still is rolling all around and scoots where-ever she needs to go, however she is not crawling yet. That's okay though, we will enjoy every minute of this precious stage while it lasts!
